|01:48 pm - High School Mural|
In my senior year of high school I painted a mural in the music hallway. After fourteen years there had been some water damage on one corner, so they had another student paint a new section over it. This weekend I went out to see it and meet the kid (coincidentally enough, he also has the last name Green). There wasn't as much damage as I'd expected, so most of my mural is still intact, but I don't have any pics of what was originally under the new portion.
Above: the new portion (mine begins with the tuba/red curtains.) I'd previously had portraits of the music teachers, and this new portion has something similar. One music teacher, Peter Martin, passed away this year and is represented in the center wearing white.
The right end of the mural (Melvin is the Green wearing green, I'm the Green wearing blue. In case you couldn't tell.)
A faux-panoramic view of the whole thing. Stephen Pagano, my music teacher and still the current one, is in the center, minus his trademarked on-again/off-again mustache.
Man, it's been YEARS since I've visited my high school. Just seeing those tiled hallways is bringing me flashbacks of high school.

The mural is fantastic. Too bad no one thought of taking a picture years back when you first drew it. I Will be going to the school to see it again. I remember it well.... You are the greatest.
